Pike & Quill is a UK consultancy providing cyber security and project management services.
We help organisations strengthen security operations through SOC analytics, detection engineering and threat hunting, with a particular focus on insider threat. Alongside this, we provide project management and advisory support, including fractional project management for organisations that need flexible delivery expertise.
Who we are
Pike & Quill was founded by Kian Goodings and Jasmin Ward-Goodings. Together, we bring experience across security operations, governance, project coordination and public services.
Both founders have academic backgrounds in forensic psychology, bringing an interest in human behaviour alongside an understanding of the systems and processes organisations depend on.
Kian Goodings
Co-founder | Cyber Security
Kian specialises in detection engineering, threat hunting and security operations within regulated environments. His work includes developing and tuning security detections, investigating suspicious activity, and improving the information and guidance available to security analysts.
His background spans IT operations, team leadership and security assurance, including risk assessments, technical design reviews and security control improvements. He holds the CISSP certification and Elastic certifications in analysis and observability.
Jasmin Ward-Goodings
Co-founder | Projects & Governance
Jasmin brings experience in project coordination, governance and operational improvement across policing, higher education and healthcare.
Her work has included supporting national digital programmes, coordinating stakeholder networks, facilitating workshops and helping teams prepare for change. She holds AgilePM Practitioner and Change Management Foundation qualifications, alongside a degree in forensic psychology and a postgraduate certificate in business psychology.
